Rodellar Part 2 // A Cravita

A Cravita is easily one of the most popular climbs at Rodellar, and for good reason! The route blasts directly up an imposing overhanging prow on the left hand side of Las Ventanas and for many visiting climbers, this is the route to do. This was the case for Kerrin who knew she had to climb the route the first time she saw it..but due to some wet conditions and a sore shoulder...this took a little longer than expected...finally sending her project the day before flying back to Australia.

Rodellar Part 3 // Kings Of Metal 8a+

This was Brad's first time climbing on tufas, and its fair to say he struggled with it at first! But once it all clicked into gear there was no stopping him! Here Brad climbs one of the many awesome routes at Las Ventanas, Kings of Metal.

Rodellar Part 4 // Pepes Malins 8B

La Sportiva Australia athlete, Doug McConnell had a ripping trip to Rodellar recently, choosing to do as many of the classics as possible rather than focus on one particular goal. He managed quick sends of many of the famous test pieces including Gladiator 8B, Geminis 8B+, Cosi Fan Tutte P1 8A+, Philipe Cuisinere 8B+ to name a few, but the one that really stood out was this one...Pepes Malins 8B.

One thing is for sure, Doug McConnell can climb tufas.

Rodellar Part 5 // Pata Negra 8C

La Sportiva Australia athlete, Jake Bresnehan traveled to Spain with the goal of trying something hard. Coming off a great year at home, Jake set his sights on the mega line, Pata Negra in the Las Ventanas cave. Progress came quickly at first, but then with bad conditions and limited time it came down to the wire to get in done.
